Academic Reinstatement through Student Success Center
Any student will be place on Academic Probation at the end of the term in which the minimum academic requirements (2.00 or above GPA) have not been met. The student then has the next term of enrollment to raise the cumulative GPA to a 2.00 or above. If this is not accomplished, the student will be dismissed from the University.
A student who has been dismissed from UND has the ability to request reinstatement to reenter following the dismissal. It is through the reinstatement process that a student is evaluated for readmission to the University.
Student Success Center has the ability to reinstate student who are wishing to reenter the University as an undecided student. For example, if a student was a declared Education major and would like to reenter UND as an undecided major, the student would request reinstatement through Student Success Center.
A formal application followed by a personal conversation is conducted to determine whether the student is able to return to the University.
